Finally some sun, warmth and a piece of mind. Lately I have been getting into the Urban Exploration and have found some neat places and today was no exception. After I finished a brisk 60 KM workout I went home to met the electrician and waited most of the afternoon. Then off for a drive.
So I found this place a while ago and today was the day after playing phone tag with David and waiting for Sean who actually stayed in bed for this sunny day. He deserved a break anyway but spring is coming and we’ll be diving, riding and shooting more sites like this one.
The House is pretty ratty and the roof on the south side is gone most likely due to the hurricane winds from many falls gone by. It had three other buildings on site one a old settler home a small barn and shed. I looked around the house a bit and decided to stick to the ground floor after seeing lots of holes and rotted floors. No need to to get carried away. The find of the day was a whaler row boat from the days of sail on the Great Lakes what it was doing 30 kms from the Lake is a mystery but the tree growing through it didn’t seem to care.
