So the groundhog saw his shadow and this fox was enjoying the sunshine as well. Today after a very excellent workout I spent the day on Wolfe Island with my flickr buddy Paul Walsh. Paul works in the recycling plant and is very familiar with the area. I asked a meeting one time telling him that I have lots of time off in the winter in the afternoons. Today he blessed me with a trip around the island. The first stop was the Zonkey (zebra and Donkey)
The owner was very friendly and told stories about his pets and even fed them for us to get them closer, the zonkey was bigger then a donkey but a little smaller then a horse. The other ponies were neat as well and they were very aggressive for the food.
Then around the island where we saw a hawk and a snowy Owl which kept playing tag with us the next owl we came across just stayed in place and ignored us no matter how much we tried to get it’s attention.
A good day for the first time in a while to bad that Polly stayed home cause I think she would have enjoyed seeing something other then the Raccoon that keeps coming to see the cats and garbage.
Thanks Paul for taking me out.
